Beaton is a Jungle, Drum and Bass, Trip Hop, Dubstep and Bass Music producer and Dj from London UK.
Beaton began his musical career as an instrumentalist. Violin,
saxophone and guitar where his early choices before becoming a song
writer and recording artist with a number of bands and artists around
London. It was only in his early twenties that he moved in the arena
of production. His early style was much more focused on trip hop which
in turn lead to Jungle, Drum and Bass and Dubstep as his main genres
of production.
He released his debut EP last year and a number of new releases are
expected in 2012. He has gone on to remix a number of artists incuding
Hollie Cook, Cellardore and Creecha.
He is also a resident at the huge Elysian
Project, based in east London’s Metal Works.
Beaton has also worked along side well known and respected composers
and producers in the media world as a programmer and composer rather
than artist and has credits on a number of major Hollywood
blockbusters (such as Kick-Ass and Suckerpunch) as well as
scoring,engineering and mixing music for the likes of the BBC, SKY,
Mother London, and a number of smaller independent companies with
music covering everything from orchestral to electro, advertising
campaigns to documentaries. His music has been shown in a number of
international film festivals and appears in sound libraries.
